In The Da Vinci Code, The Holy Grail is Mary Magdalene. However, this is not true.
Early christian myth held that The Holy Grail iactually the cup used by Jesus at the last supper. According to legend, Joshua of Arimathea used the Grail to catch Christ's blood while interring him, giving the cup special power.

In The Da Vinci Code, the person circled is supposed to be Mary Magdalene. However, it is actually John the Baptist. Bruce Boucher of the Art Institute of Chicago explained that John the Baptist looks admittedly feminine as he was invariably represented as a beautoful young man. If that person is Mary Magdalene, where is John then? So it is John the Baptist. The Da Vinci Code is completely fiction. It questions your faith. I think it strengthens your faith instead of collapsing it.
